Take Our New Poll on Industry/Trade Shows

Fuentek is launching a new poll today. The question: How many times last year did your tech transfer office market licensing/partnership opportunities by attending an industry conference or trade show? You can take our current poll here. As noted in The IP Marketing Blog this past June, trade show marketing is not dead. In fact, industry conferences and trade shows can be an ideal place to market to prospective licensees and partners. Training Takes the Lead, but Comments Shed More Light in Latest Poll

Our latest poll asked the question: What does your tech transfer office (TTO) find to be the most effective way to encourage innovator participation in tech transfer? As you can see by the chart, more than two-fifths of respondents said training was their most important tool. And as regular readers of our blog know, we agree. Training sessions we’ve provided to researchers on the basics of tech transfer as well as open innovation topics have done wonders to help TTOs connect with innovators.
