Fuentek Senior Consultant Leads Panel At AUTM 2013 Annual Meeting

APEX, N.C. – Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC, has announced that Nannette Stangle-Castor, a senior technology transfer consultant, will moderate a panel titled “Leveraging Trade Associations in Technology Transfer Marketing” on Saturday, March 2 at the Association of University Technology Managers® (AUTM®) 2013 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. The panel will discuss how technology transfer offices can utilize trade associations to enhance communication between their offices and the industries that could benefit from university technologies and research expertise. Drawing on firsthand experiences, the panel will give advice on how technology transfer offices can create effective strategies for hosting and participating in trade association meetings, and how to use them to their best advantage to facilitate marketing efforts.

Dr. Stangle-Castor will moderate a panel consisting of Kimberly Dalgleish-Miller from NASA’s Glenn Research Center and Jennifer Sherer of Southeast BIO.

As a pioneer of “symbiotic innovation,” a framework which posits that commercializing technology and technology sourcing are interdependent activities best pursued simultaneously, Dr. Stangle-Castor is highly regarded by innovators and business leaders as she works to achieve breakthroughs in technology transfer and business development. - Dr. Stangle-Castor received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Alfred University, and her Ph.D. in molecular pharmacology and cancer therapeutics from the Roswell Park Division of the State University of New York at Buffalo.
