Fuentek President to Speak at PDMA Carolinas Event Feb. 20

Laura Schoppe Discusses Innovation and New First-to-File Rules for Patenting Intellectual Property

APEX, N.C. – Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC, has announced that she will be speaking at an event sponsored by the Carolinas Chapter of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. During the session titled “Innovation and Intellectual Property: Best Practices and New Rules,” Schoppe will address the IP concerns that arise as firms rely on their innovation as a strategic asset. She will share her expertise on the latest trends in IP management and new patenting rules, including the impact of changing from first-to-invent to first-to-file under the America Invents Act.
