APEX, N.C. – Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC, a local technology consulting firm that provides intellectual property and technology management services, has announced that the firm is launching a series of webinars this spring. Designed to help technology transfer offices (TTOs) gain the skills they need to operate efficiently, effectively and proactively in this challenging economic climate, the webinars feature practical, how-to advice from Fuentek’s highly experienced staff.

Registration is now open for the first webinar, titled How I Rode the Social Media Wave: Lessons Learned from a Technology Marketing Effort, which will take place on Thursday, April 7 at 2 p.m. EDT. Based on actual experiences with Fuentek clients, this 90-minute webinar for tech transfer professionals gives participants an insider’s peek at a real-world technology marketing campaign that strategically and proactively used social media along with traditional marketing tools.

“I am pleased that we are introducing this important new service to TTOs at universities, government labs and private companies,” said Schoppe. “We know budgets are tight, and these webinars give these professionals a chance to receive high-quality, practical training that they can put to work right away in their daily work without incurring travel expenses.”
