Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to attend the annual NASA Spinoff Day on the Hill event sponsored by NASA’s Office of the Chief Technologist and the agency’s Innovative Partnerships Program. This event was established to raise awareness about NASA’s spinoffs by informing members of Congress and the public about commercial applications and quality of life benefits originating from NASA technologies and other intellectual property. The highlight of the event was the presence of spinoff companies demonstrating their technology commercialization successes.
